With an outstanding background as an amateur /semi-professional player and years of teaching experience, Chris Poli brings both his passion and his expertise to the diamond, helping you believe & achieve!

 

Chris attended Bergen Catholic HS where he played varsity baseball.  He then went on to play Division I Baseball at Iona College in New Rochelle, NY from 1978-1981. Chris earned Tri-Captain Honors in 1981.

 

After his college career, Chris went on to play Semi-Professionally in the Metropolitan League from 1980-1996. He was a perennial Division All Star, led the league in RBI’s in 1990 and was an All League 3B in 1991. Chris is still enjoying his passion, and is currently playing “ PATPNJ Over 35 Baseball” with the Red Sox.

 

In 2014, Chris joined the coaching staff of Paramus Catholic HS. He is the Head Junior Varsity Coach, and is also the Manager of Luna Orioles 16u Summer Team where

he won the division in the summer of 2014 and again in 2015. Coach Poli also earned an award at the CC Sabathia / Worldwide Pro Camps in 2014 earning “Outstanding Camp Coach Award”. He won the same award at the 2016 Noah Syndergaard / Worldwide Pro Camps.

Chris is also now a Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and is responsible for training the Paramus Catholic High School Baseball Team in the off-season. Strength and Conditioning sessions are available from Chris.
